We are looking for warm nurturing individuals who are passionate about children. You need to be over the age of twenty, have a fenced garden and a safe and smoke free environment. One of our coordinators will initially interview you and do a comprehensive health and safety check on your home. Once this is complete you will be able to enrol children.
You may care for four children under the age of five years in your home, the child’s home or a home of the parent’s choice. Your own children under five must be included in this ratio. You will be supported by one of our visiting early childhood teachers and will follow an educational programme and complete a learning journal for each child. We offer playgroups and outings for educarers and children to socialise and benefit from all the wonderful activities in the community.
